Gilt rough purl is a tightly coiled, gold-plated wire with a texture like smooth pipe and a matte finish, that can be stretched and curved to create interesting shapes and effects for surface embroidery.
Made from solid copper wire plated in 24K gold. 0.5% gold content by weight.
