Kelly Fletcher is a largely self-taught hand embroiderer who grew up with needles and thread, fabric and yarn. She creates content for magazine, book and kit publishers worldwide, designs hand embroidery patterns for her online shop and is the author of Embroidered Home, 120 Embroidery Stitches, Embroidery Tips, Tricks & Techniques and Embroidery for Everyone (out 19 October 2021). She favours creative surface embroidery with its many different stitches and puts a contemporary spin on traditional stitches and techniques to create fresh designs that appeal to modern embroiderers.
