Description
I designed this SASHIKO KOINOBORI when my son was three years old. In Japan, we have a tradition to hang up the carp streamers called “koinobori” on Children’s Day. Parents display it wishing for kids’ health. We also use koinobori as seasonal decorations. This pattern is easy to follow, as long as you have some basic sewing skills. It may take some time to finish, but the only technique you need is simple running stitch. You don’t need a sewing machine.
