About Stephanie:
Stephanie is a cross-stitch artist and author based in Chicago. She started her cross-stitch design business “stephXstitch” in 2010, and she is the author of the pattern books “Feminist Cross-Stitch” and “Self-Care Cross-Stitch”. Stephanie learned to cross-stitch from her mother as a child, and instantly fell in love with the art form. As she reached her teens and early 20s she found it more difficult to find patterns that appealed to her, and started dabbling in designing her own.

Stephanie’s cross-stitch designs focus on subverting the traditional art form using humor, pop culture references, feminist and political statements, and a sprinkling of adult language. She strives to make patterns that are colorful, beautiful to look at, and fun to stitch. You can find out more about her work at www.stephxstitch.com  give her a follow at @stephxstitch on Instagram, and check out her Patreon community for an exclusive monthly pattern.
