It’s soft and silky and ideal for embroidery, needlepoint, hardanger, blackwork, redwork, pulled thread, smocking, applique, crochet, and other types of creative stitchery. DMC perle cotton is 100% colorfast and fade resistant.
Perle cotton size 8 is roughly equivalent to 3 strands of divisible embroidery floss.
