Description
At the San Francisco School of Needlework & Design, our mission is to preserve and advance the art of hand embroidery – a globally practiced craft. We do this by honoring imagination, creativity, and the making of handmade objects.
In this project by SFSNAD senior instructor Lauren Yeager, learn ten different stitches (with variations) and complete a beautiful forest design of mushrooms, flowers, and acorns on a buttery soft, European linen tea towel. The full design measures 3.6 x 5.1 inches (9.2 x 12.8cm).
The 8-page pattern document includes a traceable design, a stitch guide, color key, and diagrams of every stitch used in the project, in addition to instructions for beginning and finishing your threads.
Want a similar project that’s even easier to make? Try the Strawberry Spray tea towel bundle. Both the bundles and the finished projects make wonderful gifts.
