Description
Gilt bright check bullion is a faceted coiled wire that adds beautiful texture and extra sparkle to surface embroidery. Viewed from the side, bright check makes a highly reflective zigzag pattern that can be stretched for different effects.
Bright check is hollow and triangular (shaped like a prism), so it can be applied by stitching through the center or via couching. It is wider and more delicate than bright check purl.
Made from gold-plated copper wire. 0.5% total gold content.
