Description
Gilt lizerine is a very shiny, flat metal tape, that can be used in goldwork embroidery. It is often worked in folded, overlapping rows to produce striping effects, and couched within each crease to secure it to the fabric.
Made from 24K gold-plated solid copper wire that has been hammered into a flat strip. 0.5% gold content by weight.
Sold by the yard in size 6 (approx. 2mm wide)
