Gilt smooth passing is a fine thread made from a gold-wrapped silk core (0.5% gold content). Perfect for filling in smooth areas of goldwork projects, typically added via couching.
Sold by the yard or in full spools of 25g (approx. 56 yds).
Size #6 is approximately 0.7mm in diameter, size #5 is approximately 0.5mm, and size #4 is approximately 0.4mm.
