Composed of filament silk and fine gilt wire, Gilt Sylke Twist is strong, flexible, and resilient, even for needlelace stitches. It can be used for many types of needlework techniques, including historical and contemporary.
A size 22 or 24 chenille or tapestry needle is recommended. After threading your needle, twist the thread tail and it will not come out of the eye.
