Description
Gilt wire check purl is a faceted coiled wire that adds beautiful texture and extra sparkle to surface embroidery. Viewed from the side, wire check makes a matte zigzag pattern that can be stretched for different effects.
Wire check is hollow and triangular (shaped like a prism), so it can be applied by stitching through the center or via couching.
Made from gold-plated copper wire. 0.5% total gold content.
