Made by Langlois Martin using unique French savoir faire since 1869, these sequins are simply the best in the business. Their durability, quality, and unrivaled color selection are what make these sequins the preferred material for tambour embroidery by the world’s major couture houses and academies.
Cellulose acetate sequins are also preferred by embroiderers who value sustainability. These eco-friendly, responsibly made sequins come from plant fiber, not plastic. They contain no fossil-fuel products, and are both biodegradable and recyclable (under specific conditions), but will still hold up to abrasion, steam, and dry cleaning.
Perliane sequins are translucent with a satin pearl finish. They are available as flat paillettes or as cup cuvettes, in 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm diameters. See below for special orders of additional shapes, sizes, or colors.
Sequins can be purchased in the following amounts:
- By the inch: 1 inch is approximately 100 sequins
- By the strand/worm: 1 strand/worm is approximately 1,000 sequins
- By the skein: 1 skein consists of 10 strands/worms, which is approximately 10,000 sequins

Special orders:
We accept special orders of colors, shapes and/or sizes not listed. Special orders consist of a minimum of 20 skeins (200,000 sequins) per item and take about 90 days to ship. 5,000 shapes, 1,500 colors, and 11 sizes available. Please contact us for pricing and more information.
Trade discounts:
